    Attention to all you bathroom design specialists. If you really want to please all the moms when it comes to their bathrooms then get busy designing and marketing these wonderful ideas. As mom’s we don’t ask for a lot but a few of these suggestions could go a long way in keeping our happy families happy!!

    Okay when it comes to mirrors I don’t see why they can’t make them tooth paste repellent. It seems like every morning and night when I go look in the bathroom mirror I see little specks of toothpaste. I am sure it would be much easier to design mirrors like this rather than to teach my family to brush their teeth with their mouth closed, or heaven forbid wipe off the toothpaste when they are done.

    How about a water rail you can flip up on the tub when a toddler or younger child is playing in the tub. Lots of children like to play in the bath tub and some fill up containers of water to set on the edge (that sometimes get knocked over onto the floor). If you had a waterproof rail you could flip up it could keep all the toys, water, and waves in the tub and make things much simpler.

    There are many advantages to choosing a shower door for your bathroom. Glass shower doors increase stability of the shower, enhance shower experience, and last much longer than shower curtains. There are many options available for glass shower doors and there is certainly a type of shower door that can suit your needs.

    Types of shower doors. Shower doors are classified into two major groups: Framed, and frameless. The classification is determined by the amount of aluminum framing that is present around the glass paneling. Framed shower doors can add a dramatic touch to a shower, while frameless doors are very streamline.

    Type of glass. Glass chosen for a frameless shower door is very important since it is the focal point. Thickness of glass adds stability and better appearance. Typically glass size is 1/2”, 3/8”, and 1/4”. There are also a great number of tempered glass options including things like antique, rain, embossed, etched, and tinted, that add style and class to your shower door.

    What is a Frameless Shower Door? A frameless shower door is a glass shower enclosure that has little or no aluminum around the sides of glass panels. For example, side panels may be framed with aluminum, but main glass door has no framing. In some cases, there is very little noticeable framing. Thickness of glass varies among products, however, thicker is better as it provides more advantages.

    Is framed better than Frameless? Framed shower doors are framed with aluminum on all sides. Aluminum is not always undesirable, and in some cases, it is necessary. However, frameless shower door require less maintenance because of less metal hardware than framed shower doors. Frameless doors are also more streamline and artistic in appearance than most traditional framed glass doors, though metals can sometimes be a perfect accent for a shower door. It really depends on décor, color scheme, and style.

The bedroom is a very important room (we spend the majority of our day there), so many people naturally ask how to improve their bedroom using color selection according to Feng Shui. Enhancing your bedroom without enhancing the other beneficial areas of your home does not provide you with the full benefits of Feng Shui.     Don’t overdo the bright colors in your bedroom. Bright colors are alive and moving, so the more bright colors that are used, the harder it will be to stay asleep. This also applies to plants and especially water. Plants and water manifest yang energy, and cause the same issues in the bedroom as bright colors. The colors associated with plants and water are green, black, and blue. Bright colors to avoid are reds, strong oranges or bright yellows. Florescent colors are out of the question!
